The wine
Intense and bright straw yellow, the nose is a harmonic of white flowers, pulpy citrus fruits, aromatic herbs, crunchy peach, white pepper, mint. The mineral notes are a lively and inviting counterpoint to so much richness. In the mouth it is velvety and persuasive, but with a sharp and vertical savory soul. Fresh and dynamic, it has a very long finish of extraordinary finesse, which accompanies the good structure in a fruity, balsamic, memorable dimension.

The winery
Vie di Romans
From eco-sustainable vineyards, the Mariano del Friuli's winery works with a very high selection of grapes and an accurate reduction of yields, which produce exciting, clean, territorial and electrifying wines. Gianfranco, with his broad experience and most-updated knowledge, has thus brought his wines from high Isonzo to winning the highest international awards, at ease in competing with the older Loire and Burgundy brothers.
