The wine

You’ve probably heard more than once about the Provençal style.

Light, brightness, ease. An almost instinctive balance between elegance and carefree living. That way of life —and of drinking— that seems effortless, but only works when everything is in the right place.

That is exactly what M de Minuty Rosé conveys.

Born in the heart of the Côtes de Provence, this rosé is one of the most recognisable expressions of Château Minuty, a winery that has turned the Mediterranean landscape into its own style. There are no excesses or artifices here: there is freshness, precision and an immediate sense of pleasure.

Made from Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Tibouren, M de Minuty is crafted from grapes grown among cypresses, palm trees and garrigue scrub, harvested by hand at just the right point of ripeness. In the cellar, the work is clean and delicate: destemming, gentle macerations and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel. No malolactic fermentation. Everything is designed to preserve the fresh, luminous expression of the fruit.

In the glass, it is direct and seductive. Aromas of fresh red fruit, citrus and white flowers, and a lively, dry and perfectly balanced palate, with a delicate, slightly saline finish that invites another sip. A rosé that works just as well as an aperitif as it does at the table, and that sees wine as part of the moment, not the star of the show.

M de Minuty is also pure Provence in its origin: the grapes come from different terroirs within the appellation, from coastal areas to the inland zones and Sainte-Victoire, adding complexity without losing lightness. And it is pure Minuty in its visual identity: the iconic bottle with soft, elegant lines, designed in the 1960s by Monique Farnet —mother of Jean-Étienne and François Matton— and updated in 2014, became a symbol that the whole region eventually made its own.

No coincidence. Minuty has always set the pace.

What does this wine taste like?

The colour is bright and clear, a pale shade with hints of rose petals.

On the nose, clean and complex, aromas of red fruit can be found mixed with notes of white-fleshed fruit.

On the palate, rich and lively, it leaves a persistent and harmonious finish.

Food pairing

Minuty M Rosé can be enjoyed with any kind of aperitif and savoury snack: olives, tapas, taramasalata, crackers, wasabi peas and vegetable chips. It also pairs perfectly with summer salads such as the classic tomato and mozzarella salad or a Niçoise salad. As for seafood, Minuty M Rosé enhances the flavour of small shellfish, prawns and molluscs. It also goes well with roasted starters or dishes prepared à la minute.
