This Schiava is limpid with a ruby red color with purple reflections; the nose reveals discreet, fresh, fruity and floral aromas with hints of violet and spices. The body is slender, balanced, soft, velvety and dry. Excellent in combination with appetizers, pasta, pizza, white meats and poultry.
Drinking and storing
Never had this grape - schiava- before but I was impressed with the wine. Highly reminiscent of a good Beaujolais with crunchy red fruit and the faintest whiff of something oaky. And priced well below its French counterparts
