Not the most full bodied Rioja you'll find, but the combination of age and flavour you get for the price is incredible. Refined and elegant Rioja with good acidity and red fruits, leather and spice. This wine is particularly good with food, I reccomend so Iberico Pluma with it. Drinking very well now, but has many more years to go.
I like this wine very much. Suitably aged and plenty of fruit, tannin and oak and a satisfying finish. Those who enjoy classic combination of Tempranillo cherry and black fruit and an oak age will be well satisfied. A fine effort what puts cheaper fruit bombs to shame by outclassing them.
Beautiful mature rioja
It’s rare to find see a winery or bodega release a wine when it’s fully mature....but this is exactly what is done here. I loved the classic flavours, fine tannins. Let it breath for 90 min and you will be rewarded
Rioja to seek and savour
I'm a fan of Riojas and came across this fine wine recently. The 2005 is the one I'm enjoying but hard to come by so will look forward to sampling the 2010 vintage when this becomes my fall back position.
Gran vino...avere 15 anni e non dimostrarli...gran profumo, avvolgente in bocca...eccezionale rapporto qualità prezzo...... Ne ordinerò ancora quanto prima
