Expected a bit more from a Burgundy Cote D’Or Villages Pinot.
A typical pale intensity ruby colour Pinot Noir with some tawny tones. Medium intensity red fruit aromas with some savoury notes. On the palate, light to medium body with medium acidity and low tannins. Overall a good wine, a little bit flat on the red fruit (cherry) flavours but some level of complexity on the secondary flavours (mushroom) which gives it a good lengthy finish.
