Cos Maldafrica is an elegant wine with a bright ruby red color. The nose opens slowly to give a bouquet of great complexity and refinement dominated by aromas of cherry and wild berries. Once opened it is a red of great strength, soft and rightly tannic. A Sicilian red not very long, but certainly exciting, which leaves in the mouth the nostalgia of the sip that has just passed. The nostalgia for an imaginary trip to Africa, Cos's nostalgia for Maldafrica. Suitable for pasta and risotto with meat sauce, roasted and grilled meat, stewed red meat and aged cheeses.

Great value structured wine
Delicious rich mid weight wine. A mouth feel that is more textured than the price reveals. My go to wine for casual roast chicken suppers.
Light and unoaked wine from Bordeaux grapes, with some rustic Sicilian terroir, aswell as some Frappato presumably. Good vintage aswell.

Raised in Amphora so no oak, this is a clean and natural light in style Bordeaux blend with a hint of Italy added to the mix.

Vino moto buono, profumato, morbido, vellutato.I tannini sono intensi non aspri. Si accompagna bene ai cibi saporiti, ma è un ottimo vino anche di degustazione.
