Spec sheet
The wine
Château Pavie Macquin 2019 is a red wine of great depth and elegance, produced in the prestigious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux. From vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils, this Merlot-dominated blend, with contributions from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, stands out for its aromatic intensity, silky tannins and excellent structure. On the nose, it offers notes of ripe black fruits, violets, sweet spices and a subtle mineral background. On the palate, it is full-bodied with an enveloping texture and a long, fresh finish. A complex and refined wine, ideal for ageing and perfect for accompanying red meats or game dishes.
