A wine to stock up on
I visited the Bodega in April which is a couple of miles back from the strip. I had half a bottle of this wine and the straight Aalto and they were both gorgeous. This is deep, dark and powerful but with a lovely sweet red fruit. You wont be disappointed!
I am saving this 2 years at least as this is too great a wine to drink early. I have had all years since forever now so I am a big fan. Other years are now super hard to find.
Strength of Ribera del Duero
Very promising wine with depth and power. However this is still way too young to drink in 2017. Buy now while the supplies last and place it in the cellar.

Hat sich Mariano García nochmals so gesteigert? Ich denke ja, denn das Mikroklima in seinen Pagos Seleccionados allein kann nicht der Grund sein für diesen Ausnahmewein. Für mich der beste Jahrgang, den Mariano seit seinem Weggang von Vega Sicilia je gemacht hat. Freilich befindet er sich zurzeit noch in der Fruchtphase, aber so filigran und seidenweich - Chapeau!
