Ceramic Sauvignon Blanc is born at Finca Hoya de Cadenas (D.O.P. Utiel-Requena), but its personality is built in the winery through an unusual winemaking process. After a careful selection of the grapes, the wine ferments in lightly toasted oak barrels with volcanic stone from Iceland, a method that brings much subtler nuances than traditional toasting. It is then refined in clay amphorae, where it gains texture, complexity and balance without losing the freshness that defines the variety.
The result is a white wine full of contrasts. On the nose, mango, pineapple and ripe citrus appear, accompanied by notes of fresh hay, elderflower, pepper and delicate smoky hints. On the palate, it combines a pleasant smoothness with lively acidity and a long, fresh and surprisingly elegant finish.
It is a wine that breaks with many clichés about Sauvignon Blanc and shows that innovation can also serve personality.
