The wine
Undoubtedly a wine for cellaring, a Rioja exclusively made from the Graciano variety and bearing the Finca Allende hallmark.
This wine is a dark Picota cherry colour with purple hues and high density. On the nose it displays red fruit aromas (of blackcurrants, plums and raisins), with notes of dead leaves and balsamic wafts (eucalyptus). The palate reveals rounded, silky tannins and shows a marked acidity, coming over as fresh and persistent.
Matured for 24 months in new French Allier oak barrels.
