The wine

A Chardonnay with a lot of personality: complex, varietal, fresh, defined by the minerality of the terroir and the gentle approach to the ageing process (the must ferments in French oak barrels for 6 days and remains in oak for a further 4 months; subsequently, it ages for 5 more months in tank).

An intense yellow colour with golden glints, this is a full-bodied, generous wine that needs time to evolve in the glass. Toasty notes from oak ageing are the first to appear, evolving into aromas of ripe fruit, followed finally by fresh pineapple, lychee and mango. On the palate, it is full-flavoured, glycerine-rich and smooth-textured due to ageing on its lees.

Aged on its lees for four months in French oak barrels and matured for a further 5 months in tank.
