Starting life in the region considered the birthplace of vermouth — referring to modern times at least, as it's believed to be Hippocrates who invented it — Riserva Carlo Alberto vermouths recapture the spirit of the early decades of the 1800s in the Piedmont, when this was one of the most prosperous states in Europe and the social background transformed vermouth into the ritual which we all know today. In production since 1837, the Riserva Carlo Alberto vermouths are made in very limited batches and using an original recipe specially prepared for King Carlo Alberto.

Vermut Rosso Riserva Carlo Alberto is made by macerating as many as 27 herbs and spices. This results in a vermouth with an aromatic expression that's exuberant and complex, but always balanced. Its passage through the mouth is dense and luscious with a faintly bitter nuance. A very good choice for getting closer to vermouth as it originally was and enjoying its long tradition.
