Cuvée 3000 is a well-known Barcelona company dedicated to the distribution of Spanish and foreign wines (especially Burgundy wines) and through this venture they aim to reach the general public offering a new range of fresh and easy to drink wines, at affordable prices and reflecting a fun, relaxed approach, wines to share and enjoy without too much complexity.
To guarantee their quality, they count on the collaboration of renowned winemakers in the different wine-producing areas. For example, as regards their Fulanito project, they work with Real Sitio de Ventosilla, the rigorous Ribera del Duero producer and for Menganito, with Viñedos de Nieva, which they chose due to the very varied local soils, mainly sandy and poor, and the cool climate. As for the production of their fruit-forward Albariño, Ocho Patas, they look to one of the most notable names in the Rías Baixas, José Antonio López, of Vinos Tricó, and for their Côtes de Provence rosé, they are involved with the oenologist Thomas de Lagarde.
This is definitely a very interesting project, and it will be fascinating to find out which other wines will come along to expand the family.
