Deep ruby red, on the nose the Ripassa is intense, fine and persistent, with hints of black cherry and plum. On the palate it is harmonious and velvety, of good structure. Excellent companion with game dishes, grilled meats and roast meats, as well as cured meats and aged cheeses.

An absolute stunner!!!
Soft, juicy, sophisticated and luscious! Wild strawberry, earth, mushroom on the palate, medium body, fresh, wow! Loved this with steak and Mediterranean veg, have to get more of this! Fantastic, worth every penny, you won't be disappointed, let it breathe for a couple of hours, improves greatly!by: Marko H. (26/11/2018) - Vintage 2015
Bold and yet soft ripasso
On the scent there are raisins, plums and a hint of tobacco followed by a taste of cherries and smooth tannins that are quite medium, I think, and this is also surprisingly low on the acidity. Nice long finish seals the deal. Try pairing with beef or even roasted game and of course hard cheeses.by: KatyB (16 Aug) - Vintage 2017
Was introduced to the 2015 by a local restaurant. This is no longer available but the 2017 although not quite as good certainly doesn’t disappoint.by: kamilot (23/12/2017) - Vintage 2014
Beest of Valpolicella
Traied in Venice ones, best with mozzarella and prosciutto. Worth the price. You can feel the difference between primitivo and this one.by: Marios (10/01/2020) - Vintage 2016
Great wine, excellent value.
A great representation of ripasso. Easy to drink with smooth tannins but with enough depth to hold its own with heavier dishes.
