Review

Pure Primitivo grape wine, harvested early in small boxes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks after which it ages for 6 months in American oak barriques, in order to enhance the tannins and the structure. Further refinement in the bottle follows. At the sight it has a ruby red color with purple reflections, expresses a bouquet of marasca cherry and jam in the nose, with echoes of leather, vanilla and tobacco. Soft, velvety and full-bodied sip, with great persuasion and persistence. It is perfect in the company of first courses and grilled red meats. Try it with cold cuts and aged cheeses.

No estuvo mal

Descubrí esta variedad de uva "primitivo de manduria" hace poco y me gustó mucho. Sin embargo este vino, en comparación con otros "primitivo de mandria" de categoría superior (y bien de precio) estuvo un poco justo

Very good relationship price/ quality

I love Primitivo di Manduria - I come from the very region producing it - and this one is a good one at a very reasonable price. Would buy again for sure

The large estate, governed by the family name since the mid-fifteenth century, extends over 100 hectares around a splendid castle, which still has its dark and evocative cellars from the past. On this land the vine coexists with thousands of other crops to maintain a comp...
