Wine Tronquoy de Sainte-Anne Saint-Estèphe 2016
|Alcohol content i||14.0%|

Since 1993, Château Tronquoy-Lalande has produced a second selection, Tronquoy de Saint-Anne, whose name is inspired by that of a historical plot of the property. Composed mainly of merlot and cabernet sauvignon and vinified with the same care as Grand Vin, it can represent up to 20% of the total harvest. It is an enveloping and smooth wine, very tasty, with more immediate charms than its older ones.
Dense dark garnet color, tending to purple in its youth. The aroma reveals notes of blackcurrant, violet, mocha, vanilla, spices and licorice. Saint-Estèphe wines have full-bodied tannins and therefore reach maturity more slowly than most other Médocs. They offer black fruit, a note of freshness, often with woody or smoky notes and a floral touch. With good aging potential.
