Review

DOC Castel del Monte produced with Nero di Troia and Aglianico grapes grown in vineyards at 450 meters above sea level, with cold winters and not too hot summers. A classic ruby red color with a full and fragrant bouquet. Ruby red wine tending to garnet after short aging, it expresses a full and fragrant bouquet, delicately spiced with hints of berries. On the palate it is pleasant, full-bodied, harmonious, savory, and goes well with red meats, roasts, game, aged cheeses and salami.

Good QPR

Fruity, lots of dark fruits inside, good acidity and nice finish. I would buy this wine again. Give it a try

Great value wine from Puglia.

Bolonero is a great value wine from Puglia. It's mostly made with the Nero de Troia grape, which is reminiscent of a classic Primitive, but with less sweetness, more depth and more subtlety. Recommended.
