Details for Tommaso Bussola Amarone 2014
Bottle size and vintage
Dense and vivid garnet, the nose is spicy, with hints of pepper and cinnamon, and herbaceous, with echoes of sage, wormwood and mint. Coffee, coconut and cherries in alcohol complete the olfactory picture. On the palate it is harmonious, between freshness and softness, with excellent, dense and silky tannins. Fruity and fleshy in persistence.
- Optimum serving temperature:Between 16ºC and 18ºC
Top Notch Amarone
This is a very good amarone indeed. The taste is so full on and long lasting but at the same time not to the extent that it masks the taste of whatever food you have with it. In my opinion it is better than the Masi, Zenatto, Campagnolo and Mussella amarones i usually drink.by: stefanzo (26/11/2019) - Vintage 2012
One of the best Amarones ever!
So interesting, this wine! When you first open it, it has an odd taste, but you can taste the potential! For us it takes 4-5 hours for it to reach anywhere near it best, but then it's magnificent!! Even the next day it's awesome. Rich, dark, intense, berries, sultanas and a slight fortified essence.by: Dimitri Thiers (11/01/2019) - Vintage 2012
A great Amarone. Long nose and smooth finish. The power of the Amarone can be traced back in this wine.
