Pira Luigi Barolo Serralunga d'Alba

Pira’s wine, produced from the grapes of the family's historic vineyards, is bottled in its entirety. The crus of Barolo Nebbiolo are vinified individually, leading to wines of remarkable quality. The Piras, who age Nebbiolo according to the most traditional principles, i.e. in large barrels for a long time, faithfully interpret this natural trend. Theirs is an austere Barolo in which structure, elegance and preservability stand out. Barolo Serralunga is the most ready, compact and balsamic of the wines produced by the winery, a blend of grapes from the entire municipality. A product that embodies the Barolo tradition and comes out of the cellar at a truly competitive price. 

The vinification of Barolo Serralunga takes place in horizontal fermenters at a controlled temperature for about 12/15 days. The refinement lasts 24 months in 25 hl wooden barrels.
