The wine

Oloroso Los Caireles is a fortified wine produced in the Jerez region by Bodegas Portales Pérez, a small family winery located in El Puerto de Santa María, which is committed to traditional methods and limited production.

This oloroso is made exclusively from Palomino Fino grapes, aged using the criaderas and solera system for over 12 years in American oak casks. During this process, the wine undergoes controlled oxidation, which gives it its characteristic dark amber colour, complex aromas and great structure on the palate.

On the nose, it offers notes of walnut, fine wood, caramel and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is dry, deep, enveloping and persistent, with a perfect balance between power and elegance.

Ideal for pairing with stewed meats, mature cheeses, mushrooms or as a meditation wine.
