The wine
The wines of the "Nuits" appellation are the most full-bodied, the most robust and the most tannic of the Côte de Nuits. While they are generally ready for consumption around four or five years in the bottle, they age very well for about ten years. They are full, firm with a dark and intense color. Their aromas are powerful and complex. They combine cherry, blackcurrant, fur and truffle at the same time. They have an important tannic structure, and the tannin-roundness harmony makes them full-bodied and solid wines.
