This Nero d'Avola has a ruby red color with a violet hue; the nose expresses hints of cherries and berries. The sip is savory but enveloping with excellent acidity that gives freshness. To be combined with first courses with sauces, medium-aged cheeses and red meats.

The Miceli story is the typical one of a family wine grown in western Sicily. An area where for decades quantity has surpassed quality, from which only recently the most expert winegrowers have freed themselves. In the thirties Ignazio Miceli was a precursor of the turning point.
