The wine
Vins del Massís is a project in which Benjamín Romeo (Contador) participates in Catalonia along with other partners such as Patxi Fernández Bengoa and Belén Sánchez.
In a walk with those who would be his next partners fell in love with the Garraf landscape and put interest in making a white wine that was not only xarel·lo, found white grenache very close and the result was next to Massís a fascinating target and complex.
Macizo seeks to be a wine of guard, predominates a tad plus the xarel·lo, elegant, deep, complex and alive. You have to give it time.

Soils are poor and calcareous, and it's relatively easy to find remains of marine fossils. The plots are located among Mediterranean woodlands with their fragrant aromas of rosemary and thyme while sea breezes cool the vines. All...
