When we talk about Amarone, we talk about patience. Giordano Amarone della Valpolicella 2018 is a wine that was not rushed, but allowed time to do its work. Produced in the heart of Veneto from dried Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, this wine is aged slowly, both the berries and the wine itself. And you can feel it from the first sip.
Its aroma is powerful but not aggressive: ripe cherries, plums, hints of chocolate, a touch of dried herbs and tobacco. The taste is deep, warm and velvety. The alcohol (which is not lacking here) is well balanced with natural sweetness and soft tannins.
This is not an everyday table wine. Giordano Amarone 2018 is perfect for special occasions, rich meat dishes, mature cheeses, or simply for the end of the evening, when you want peace and quiet and a moment of quality with a good wine.
