Wine De Beroz Nuestro Roble 2020
|Alcohol content i||14.0%|
|Bottle size and vintage||0.75 L - 2020|
This is an interesting blend comprising 40% each of Cabernet and Merlot, along with 10% of Tempranillo and the same of the local variety Moristel. The grapes, growing in the younger vineyards of Salas Altas and Barbastro, are harvested at night at their optimal ripening moment. Every effort to maintain their freshness is carefully considered in the production process, including lowering the must by gravity into tanks after fermentation.
An intense ruby red colour, the wine is clean and bright in appearance. The nose releases aromas of ripe red fruits, along with toasty and smoky nuances acquired through barrel ageing. Fresh and pleasant on the palate, it is lively and intense.
Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels, with a further 6 months spent resting in bottle before release.

This is a young but eminently drinkable wine from a part of Spain that deserves to be better known. A testament to the art of blending.by: Roger Laird (18/01/2019) - Vintage 2015

Wine from Bodega de Beroz
Mariano Beroz and Adrián Beroz are the father and son team running this family concern in Barbastro, in the Somontano region.
