The wine

Dara takes its name from the Catalan expression D'ara, 'de ahora', meaning ‘of now’, of the present time or current. There’s no doubt this really is an up-to-date wine, which proudly shows its origins but cleverly adapts to a broad range of palates. Dara is looking forward without losing sight of the past, a revised version of the classic Priorat style. A wine for all palates and pockets, a sure winner.

Wine critics reviewsReviews by Jancis Robinson

Not as ridiculously expensive as some. Very dark crimson. Sweet and meaty on the nose. Rich and round. Pretty heavy! I’d be a mite wary of the alcohol in this wine.
