Review

Lusirà is an elegant, balanced wine, enveloping in aromatic intensity and complexity. Intense ruby red color, the nose expresses a bouquet that ranges from red fruit jam to spicy notes up to balsamic notes. Soft, balanced and persistent in the mouth, it has an aging capacity of at least ten years. Recommended in combination with fish soups, risotto with artichokes, light meats and fish couscous.

Food pairing

Zuppa di pesce / Risotto con le verdure

Extraordinary Sicilian Syrah

I first discovered this wine in a Michelin restaurant in Terrasini (Sicily) and was immediately blown away by its finesse and depth. Syrah is not a common grape for Sicily but Cristo di Campobello have really mastered the vinification on this one finding the perfect balance between dark fruits jammy notes and delicate spices + Vanilla notes from the oak. A true revelation among the uprising sicilian wine scene.

There are no compromises here at Baglio. The extreme and obsessive reverence for the virtues of the western Sicilian terroir meets the wine-making of Riccardo Cotarella, one of the stars of It...
