The wine

Château Cordet 2017 is an elegant red wine from the AOC Margaux, in the prestigious Bordeaux Médoc, made mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a small contribution of Petit Verdot. Belonging to the same family as Château Monbrison, this wine acts as its "second château", sharing philosophy and selected vineyards. The 2017 vintage offers a classic and balanced profile, with aromas of ripe black fruits, violets, undergrowth and soft spices, well integrated with notes of oak thanks to its ageing in barrels. On the palate, it is structured but accessible, with polished tannins, fresh acidity and a persistent and harmonious finish. Ideal with grilled meats, small game dishes or cured cheeses, Château Cordet 2017 is an excellent entry into the Margaux style, combining typicity, elegance and excellent value for money in the Vinissimus catalogue.
