Bottle size and vintage
Made mainly from Sangiovese grapes, with 8% Merlot, selected in Farnetella, in the municipality of Sinalunga, southeast of Siena and northwest of Montepulciano. The vineyards, almost entirely oriented to the south west, are located on a well exposed and ventilated plateau at different heights between 220 and 560 meters above sea level. The soils are made up of stratified sands and silt with a modest presence of clay and a more widespread stony and limestone component.Intense ruby red with purple hues, the nose expresses a fruity aroma of small undergrowth fruits and notes of anise and sweet licorice (typical of the Sangiovese of this land), well integrated with a slight spiciness. The sip is soft, with a good fruit aftertaste and light vanilla.
- Optimum serving temperature:Between 16ºC and 18ºC
