Review

The Bosco di Gica is a Prosecco Brut, capable of expressing great character, which translates into elegance and great aroma. This wine takes its name from an ancient name of the area where the first Adami family vineyards are located.

Fresh and aromatic sparkling wine. Straw yellow in color, it has a dense foam with fine and persistent perlage. Pleasantly scented, it offers a broad fruity bouquet, with flavors of yellow apple, peach, wisteria and acacia flowers: an overall balanced and delicate aroma, combined with aromatic notes of great freshness. On the palate it shows acidulous, sapid, fresh and aromatic as suggested by the nose. Of good fullness, roundness and length, it is an excellent aperitif, also excellent "throughout the meal" combined with fish, shellfish and seafood.

The Bosco di Gica Brut expresses its maximum freshness characteristics in the year following the harvest. However, in the following years, if well preserved, to the decrease of the intensity of the tastes and fruity perfumes corresponds a greater complexity both to the nose and in the mouth that can reserve pleasant surprises.

The historical testimonies date back to the Middle Ages the wine vocation of the hills of the Marca Trevigiana. Here excellent white wines were produced which, as it was written in 1606, were exported and appreciated "in Venice, in Germany and as far as Poland". It was a natural selection to impose the Glera in this High Brand wine cellar and above all in the Valdobbiadene area where it has reigned since then on the steep slopes of the Pliocene hills. The environment is severe, we are close to the first peaks of the Dolomites, but well protected and kissed by the warm light of midday.

As good as prosecco gets

There's only so much you can expect from prosecco. It's never going to be profound. But it is easy to drink, a crowd pleaser. This one is apples and pears on the nose, fine mouse and all too easy to demolish a bottle. Now my house fizz.

A quality prosecco at a good price

bon rapport qualité prix

un très bon rapport qualité prix avec ce prosecco : une dizaine d'euros tout en bénéficiant d'une note à 90 par le guide Parker, imbattable donc. Celà vaut largement un champagne, à prendre en apéro ou bien à mélanger dans un cocktail, par exemple un spritz ou bien un bellini (coulis de pêche blanche et prosecco)

Un Prosecco sympathique

Depuis son succès mondial on rencontre le Prosecco un peu partout. Et parfois on se dit que ce que nous buvons n'est pas à la hauteur. Pas celui-ci ! Un Prosecco très bulleux, gouteux et qui me réconcilie avec ce vin.
