La Bienvenida según Perelada

In the Empordà, land of wind, culture and borders that have always been crossed, Perelada presents two wines that are like two welcoming gestures: Amfitrió de l'Empordà 2023 and Obsequi de l'Empordà 2024. Two different profiles, two oenological languages, but the same intention: receive, share and celebrate.
Amfitrió de l'Empordà 2023 is that host that knows how to balance identity and curiosity. It combines the native garnacha and cariñena with syrah, merlot and cabernet sauvignon in a harmony that reflects the philosophy of its creator, Delfí Sanahuja: to learn from the outside without renouncing one's own. In the glass it dazzles with a medium robe; on the nose, wild strawberries, cherries, violets and a hint of aniseed. On the palate it is fresh, fluid, with caressing tannins and a pleasant finish that invites another conversation. It is the perfect red wine for those who want a young but soulful wine: green, balanced and tremendously approachable.
On the other side of the table, Obsequi de l'Empordà 2024 represents that universal gesture that unites cultures: the art of receiving with respect and generosity. Perelada has conceived it as a tribute to that universal custom of honouring the guest with the best of the pantry. From Grenache Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc, and with fermentation in concrete that preserves its identity, a luminous, intense and precise white wine is born. Aromas of white fruit, Mediterranean herbs and a saline background that reminds us that the sea is never far away. It is a wine that does not seek to show off, but to deliver what is essential: authenticity, beauty and respect for the land. A true gift from the Empordà.
Two new wines, two complementary views, two sides of the same coin:
that of the Empordà that welcomes, inspires and surprises.
