1 + 1 = 3 Brut Nature Xarel·lo Fermentat in Barrica is a sparkling wine made by the winery 1 + 1 = 3 (U Més U Fan Tres) at Guardiola de Font Rubi, DO Cava. The winery is located in the heart of Penedés, and almost all the vineyards are organically worked. 1 + 1 = 3 Brut Nature Xarel·lo Fermentat in Barrel is a cava made with Xarel·lo from our own vineyards. The harvest is done manually in boxes. Once in the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. After the cold transfer, the must ferments in new French oak barrels, where it will subsequently carry out a rearing, on lees for 6 months, with periodic battonages. And finally a baby for 24 months in the bottle.
1 + 1 = 3 Brut Nature Xarel·lo Fermentat in Barrel is a ripe, unctuous and very full cava. The aging notes, the toasted notes of the barrels complemented with aromas of nuts and notes of butter stand out.

The toasted brioche and smoky aromatic apple on the nose and gives this cava a creamy elegance and fuller-body on the palate. Un bollicine di base.
Colore paglierino chiaro, profumo marcato di legno che copre altri profumi più tenui. Il legno si sente anche al palato. Accettabile ma fortemente sbilanciato.
