Consistently good

I was recommended this in a restaurant in Sevilla, as an alternative to Rioja crianza, in 2012 and have been buying a few bottles each year since. A lovely full bodied wine which develops in the glass.

Grandios

Erstmals in Sevilla getrunken und seither immer im Weinregal vorrätig. Gutes Verhältnis von Preis zu Leistung. Kann den Wein bestens weiterempfehlen.

Three star, almost four

This wine must be opened early or decanted. the wine is closed and does not want to show up, but when you have succeeded in opening it, the wine is very good. Close to a four.

Amazing value

Got served this in a Madrid restaurant and enjoyed it so much I photographed the bottle and used it online so I could order more

Full bodied with rich fruit balanced with oak

I first encountered the 2011 vintage in a restaurant in Sevilla when it was recommended instead of Rioja crianza. It comes from Cadiz province, not a big exporter to the UK but it's well priced and a worthy alternative to wines from further north.
