Details for Château La Croix Saint-Estèphe 2013
Bottle size and vintage
The Château Le Crock vineyard is located in Saint-Estèphe, north of the left bank, between Crus Classés Château Montrose and Château Cos d'Estournel. Belonging to the Cuvelier family, as well as Château Léoville Poyferré, you benefit from the same experience as this Grand Cru Classé. Recognized in 1992 as Cru Bourgeois, and elevated in 2003 to the rank of Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, Château Le Crock confirms today this level of quality, harvest after harvest. Rich and powerful, endowed with a very beautiful complexity, molded by the terroir. It is a wine with robust tannins, a delicate aroma, a fleshy and complete structure that will be refined over the years to give a complex and distinguished wine. This has the charm and the usual vintage volume, with density and a beautiful volume. A good very sweet wine. La Croix has resolutely chosen to register the delicacy, both for its bouquet marked by acidic red berries and for its flexible attack palate, fresh in the end, backed by fine and friendly tannins.
