Details for Calatroni Brut Pinot 64 2014
Vino Spumante di Qualità (Italy)
Bottle size and vintage
It was 1964 when Luigi Calatroni decided to start his path as a winemaker by signing the bottles with his own name. Pinot 64 originates from only Pinot Noir grapes harvested at different altitudes (from 250 to 390 meters above sea level) and cultivated on calcareous soils. The harvest is anticipated to obtain fresh and fragrant bases. After bottling and refermentation, the wine rests on its lees for at least 30 months. The Pinot 64 wants to tell the great vocation of the territory beyond to express all the finesse and elegance of Pinot Noir. Creamy bubbly, floral olfactory notes alternating with hints of yeast, verticality on the palate and long persistence are its genetic make-up. Do not limit it to simple aperitifs, we challenge its acidity and its structure with dishes of sea and land that find their pleasure in the fatness.
