The aromas are dominated by cherries, blackberries, and plums, while the taste is characterised by soft spices, herbal nuances, and a pleasant freshness. Due to their naturally high acidity and medium tannins, these wines are lively and have good ageing potential.
Bobal is used to make both refreshing rosés and serious red wines, which can be enjoyed both young and aged in oak. They pair perfectly with Spanish tapas, rice dishes, meat stews, or grilled meats.
