Finca Mas Perinet

Perinet is a spectacular estate in DOQ Priorat, both the winery and the vineyard are unique in Priorat, the result of a particular and pioneering vision of combining a premium winery and an excellent tourist destination. The farm contains a predominance of local varieties such as Mazuelo (Cariñena) and Garnacha, accompanied by international varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. The architecture of the winery stands out for its elegance and spectacularity. Perinet produces great wines made one hundred percent in origin and destined for the international market of top brands. The founders began building the terraces in 1998 and finished planting the vines in 2002. The vineyards are built on technologically advanced terraces with high-density plantings. Perinet has today become a modern and innovative winery located in the heart of a traditional region. Different varieties, different wines and techniques make Perinet the place where past and future embrace.

The Perinet vineyards comprise three great views of the historic Priorat. The whole project allows the vineyards to shape a new balance of styles in winemaking. Specifically, the three climates of the vineyard correspond to three wine styles: warm and mature: Mas Vell, fresh and long: Mas del Xes, and Mediterranean and aromatic: Pendents, in the municipality of Porrera. The three plots show a strong personality where various local and international varieties grow on steep slopes and terraces of different exposure and orientation. This means that the authenticity of the landscape is transmitted in different wines from the estate, always linked to the climate and the Priorat slate soil.
