The wine

The Eye: Pure ruby, lively and deep, red as it is not allowed, its color is limpid whose nuances often vary. These generally draw on garnet, purple-violet hues, quite dark, a color that supports the eyes.

The Nose: With age, the palette turns towards pepper and musk, fur, leather and spices, prunes. Sometimes it recalls the scent of undergrowth, moss, mushrooms, damp soil, game. The fruit in alcohol, the blackberry complete this aromatic range. But, especially among young wines, we find pine, wild rose, violet and fresh cherry.

The Palate: Peaceful or dreamy, serene with age, subtle and refined, it expresses all the Burgundian complexity, all the art of Pinot Noir on a predestined terroir. With a dazzling structure, it is solid, structured, rich and always has a lot of harmony. It is Grand before being Echezeaux, with a touch of class, more vinosity, a dense texture.
