Details for Château Montfin Sur Pilotis Corbières 2018
Bottle size and vintage
On the slopes of Corbières overlooking the ponds and the sea, between Narbonne and Sigean, on the protected site of Peyriac de Mer, Château Monfin, acquired in September 2002, has been the subject of extensive investment by its current owners. At the same time, they strove to build a richer vineyard that combined traditional grape varieties and so-called "improvement" grape varieties. In fact, since 2002, the original vineyard has been enriched in particular with old vines from Cariñena over 70 years old.
The dress is a beautiful light light garnet. The nose is bright, predominantly with red strawberry and sour cherry. The palate is delicious with a flexible attack that opens on the fruit, well supported by a very soft tannin with a pleasant finish with the flavor of coriander and nutmeg spices.
