Calatroni Riesling Campo Dottore Riserva

This wine was created to allow 100% Riesling Renano to demonstrate all its power and elegance. The vineyard of origin undergoes a double harvest (30% early and 70% when fully ripe) in order to have a concentration of acidity that will constitute the necessary backbone for aging. Vinified only in steel, it rests at least 2 years in the bottle. The nose remains respectful of the grape variety and winemaking, immediately offering the classic notes of hydrocarbon which then harmonize with hints of saffron and dehydrated apricot. In the mouth you can perceive a nice fatness, but also a jab of freshness that makes it pleasant to drink. To combine with dishes with an intense flavor such as a wheel of seasoned blue cheeses with fruit mustard or onion-based dishes.
