* His experience in the exciting world of wine began in 1949, when Manuel Gómez opened a store in Sant Cugat del Vallès dedicated to the retail sale of wines. In 1992 there was a generational change and orientation of the family business. They inaugurate a wine store, with an extensive range of brands and designations of origin, which are complemented by a small restaurant. After a few years immersed among the best wines, in 1998 they decided to start the project of making their own wine. After a study of the different denominations of origin, finally, they opted for the DO Priorat, for its prestige in the production of great wines. They acquire some plots in La Morera de Montsant, in the place called Barranc de la Bruixa . To plan and design the plantation, they have the inestimable help and technical advice of the prestigious winemaker Joan Milà. His son Eloi, is responsible for the development and design of the wines. In 2004 they make their first vintage.
The vineyard is oriented to the south with a land that is composed of different types of soils: limestone, stone, rocks and, of course, the llicorella slate. The plantation is populated by clones of low yield, with narrow trunks and elevated roundabouts that require less irrigation and that give a very special character to the wine that is obtained.
