A past as a supermarket manager, Enrico Santini, from Bolgheri, decided at thirty-two years of age to devote himself to viticulture. The area is his, and needs no introduction. It is the land of Sassicaia, the real Italian Bordeaux. Here Enrico planted his first vineyard in 1998 and transformed the garage and the cellar of his house into a wine cellar.</p>
<p>The first production dates back to 1999, in organic vineyards in the southern part of the Tuscan denomination. The awards came early and marked out Enrico as a rising star, the true promise of Bolgheri wine.
