Château Perron

Located on the outskirts of the village of Lalande de Pomerol and dating back to 1647, Château Perron is one of the oldest properties in this appellation. It has belonged to the Massonie family since 1958 and is currently run by the third generation. Michel Massonie, who has recently chaired the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, was also one of the founding clerks of the AOC Lalande de Pomerol. In 1999 he handed over the running of the Château Perron estate to his son, Bertrand.

The winery has a young and dynamic attitude which, combined with excellent technical skills and their utmost respect for the terroir, has led to the rebirth of the property and its wines. Constantly gaining in recognition in the Lalande de Pomerol region, their catalogue includes great wines such as Château Perron, Château Perron La Fleur, and Château Pierrefitte as their first, second and third wines respectively. All three enjoy the quality and prestige only great wines share.

They have been working on converting their land to ecological cultivation methods since 2019. Château Perron creates wines with passion and respect for traditions and the environment and are committed to conserving biodiversity. Together with a modern touch they add to their winemaking, they produce wines which offer a perfect expression of the Lalande de Pomerol terroir.
