The wine

This Cru is located in the immediate vicinity of Gigondas. It extends over Sarrians where the “Garrigues” plateau is shallow, clayey and stony. This "scrubland" landscape is typical of the region, and the wines are really marked by the scents of spices and dry herbs. Provence from every point of view.

Wine critics reviewsReviews by Jancis Robinson and Suckling

Tank sample. Tasted blind. Cooked black fruit, smooth tannins, savoury spice, moderate length. Enjoyable but simple.

Plenty of smoke and a touch of black pepper, as well as the big blackberry fruit of the Southern Rhone! Full body and the alcohol to go with it, but everything fits nicely together and the wine has a very harmonious, long finish, thanks to the rather fine tannins. Drink or hold.
