The wine

Château Perron is a faithful representation of the AOC Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation and the amazing Merlot grapes it is home to. A deep and complex red wine, up among the elite wines of the region thanks to the excellent work carried out by the winery.

What does this wine taste like?

Displaying a noticeably dark colour and ruby-red and violet glints, Château Perron offers intense and expressive aromas of ripe fruit, vanilla, spices and a perfectly balanced toasted touch. Fatty and fruity tannins become seductive and moreish with time, making for a harmonious, silky drink with a long and lingering finish.

It has belonged to the Massonie family since 1958 and is currently run by the third generation. Michel Massonie, who has recently chaired the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, was also one of the founding clerks of the AOC Lalande de Pomerol. In 1999 he handed over the running of the Château Perron estate to his...
