Patrón Añejo is a delicate blend of tequilas aged in small white oak barrels.
Like all Patrón tequilas, an exceptional tequila, made from 100% blue agave grown in Jalisco region, an area known for its excellent production of honey, sugar levels high.
As with the great red wines, the master distiller of Patron zealously monitor the entire process, from the time of harvest (the maturation of a crop of agave requires a minimum of 6-7 years, but sometimes it wait up to 8 to achieve the optimum purity sugars) in the selection of tequilas that best fit each harvest, during the cooking process of pineapples, fermentation and distillation in traditional copper stills ... to strict control by the end tasting Don Francisco Alvarez.
