The wine

Produced from the vinification of pure Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana) grapes grown in one of the most particular vineyards of the entire Doc area. The main vineyard that gives the name to the Podere is characterized by three fundamental elements: the elevation between 110 and 125 meters above sea level, the hilly inclination and the rich presence of stone make the clay more brittle and permeable.

All the vinification takes place in steel tanks to protect and enhance the typical characteristics of the vine, known for its austerity. It is bottled at the arrival of the spring season and then refined for several months in the cellar, where it waits to reach the balance in which the vine mitigates its exuberance and achieves that balance between flavor and freshness that make this wine a unique expression of this. territory.

Before the summer he is still nervous, linear, still beyond blossoming into what will be his true identity, which he will reach at the end of the heat, one year after the harvest. At the beginning of the autumn mists, its vigor will then finally be expressed in a more generous amplitude of aromas which, although always delicate, will be balanced between minerality and fruitiness (citrus, peach ...). You will notice vegetable scents, sometimes of sage. Taste is the most important expressive level for this wine: the sapidity made fragrant by its freshness, the breadth and the vibrant warmth that make it unique in its ability to harmonize with food without being overly intrusive but emphasizing and enhancing the dishes by which he will be accompanied. It can mature for several years, revealing itself more and more and surprising.
