The wine
Mas Perinet is the interesting result of singer-songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat’s incursion into the world of wine. Due to its altitude, the estate where the wine originates from shows a notable diurnal variation, producing wines that are distinctly aromatic with a definite tannic structure, revealing grainy-textured, silky tannins.
Dark morello cherry in colour with medium to high intensity, its aromas are both intense and complex, as ripe red fruit notes provide the setting for mineral touches and warm spicy hints. Impressive balance appears on the palate, ending with a pleasant, lingering finish.
Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.
