Palamà Negroamaro Fregi Rosso

Palamà's Fregi Balocchi is an intense ruby red wine with garnet reflections, limpid, transparent, brilliant, and medium consistency. Good intensity, fine, elegant, medium persistence and with fruity hints of cherry in alcohol, red fruit jam and notes of myrtle-like Mediterranean scrub herbs. There are also notes of cinchona, slightly animal and leather. On the palate it is dry, fairly fresh, soft, fairly tannic, moderately structured and of good flavor. Overall, the wine is balanced and harmonious. It goes well with white meat stuffed like chicken breast wrapped with smoked bacon and stuffed with its entrails or robust fish dishes such as caciucco alla livornese or fish soups.
