Starda name of an ancient family of notaries, from them a farmhouse and a narrow road that runs along the base of the Serraboella took its name. The soils at the bottom of the Serraboella, more sandy and cooler, give softer nebbioli in tannin but still of great class. For some years now, not only the Nebbioli from Serraboella have flowed into the Starda but also those from the sandstone-rich soils of Ca Veja di Alba, another large vineyard of the Paitin winery.
